Adapting to the Changing Office Environment
Magna and Premier Construction & Design have yet again proved to be a powerful partnership, this time in updating Magna’s existing space at the Troy Technology Office Park. Working closely with Magna’s leadership and vendors, Premier’s Architectural team used our expertise in adapting to the changes in the transformed office environment to streamline the design development, permitting and construction processes!
The new layout gives Magna an open floorplan with collaborative, hoteling, and meeting spaces throughout. Offices were relocated off the exterior glass to bring additional daylight to the interior and sleek glass fronts were added to modernize the space. Premier’s Architectural team produced construction drawings and worked through details with Magna and their vendors to ensure every aspect of the space functioned as needed.
Magna’s previous interior finish standards needed an update as well. One of the project priorities was to establish new standards that bridge the Magna brand with modern interior finishes. The Premier Team, along with Magna’s vendors, created a fresh scheme, introducing organic patterns and warm wood tones that provide an updated framework for Magna’s brand elements. Premier’s Interior Design team created a focal point with the design of a new reception area – incorporating lighting and airy wood with chiseled quartz edge, natural moss accents and bold pendant lighting.
Premier’s strong and long lasting partnerships with our clients are key to our continued success in projects like Magna’s. The teams at Premier Construction and Design work in tandem during the pre-development, design, and construction phases to create the desired outcome – beautiful, functional spaces!
